Will SLG change P2E games?
When we talk about P2E games there is an inevitable question: has blockchain changed gameing? Why the life cycle of the P2E game is too short? Well, that’s the problem that most games try to solve. Some answers are that playing for fun is the only solution. Because they believe that P2E games should eventually conform to the consumer behavior of traditional games, this answer ignored the advantage of earning, which is to share profits with players and build content and community with players. To earn is not a simple process of mining, but a process of guiding players to participate together. In this way, the life cycle of the game can be extended and even surpass the traditional game.
Let’s go back to the game life cycle. In addition to jointly building communities and sharing profits which can prolong the life cycle, the genres of games have a far-reaching influence on the life cycle. The genres that can carry more game content and have more possibilities for community co-construction are the most preferred. The most typical example is SLG. We believe that more novel and interesting SLG games will appear soon to drive the prosperity of the entire game market. For example, Land of Conquest is different from the games we have seen before. It really integrates tokens into the economic system and changes the distribution mode between players. Moreover, the game has made great efforts in playability, which can transform players’ simple investment behavior into consumption, and willingly contribute to the whole ecosystem. We look forward to working with the founding team to help the team grow and create a new GameFi model.
